Wireless M-Bus

Open standard for Automatic Meter Reading at sub 1 GHz

Radiocrafts was first in the market with a family of miniature RF-modules with embedded wireless M-Bus protocol. Now we expand our wide portfolio with world's first 169 MHz 500mW RF module with exeptional range performance and unique features for battery operated gas- and water meters.

NEW: 169 MHz 500mW Wireless M-Bus (N-Mode):

  • True-narrowband RF performance, excellent link budget
  • Superior range performance (20-30 km line of sight, 300m - 1000m urban/rural)
  • Single-supply VCC voltage, ideal for battery operation
  • Same footprint as Radiocrafts' 868 MHz RF modules for OMS (Open Metering System specification)- and NTA8130/DSMR
  • GPRS gateway solution available off the shelf

    Product details: RC1701HP-MBUS4

868 MHz Wireless M-Bus (R, S and T- Modes, also available with C-mode)
To support regional adaptations of the EN13757-4:2005 standard combined with a continous development of features, Radiocrafts has introduced Feature Sets which is tailored firmware inside the same hardware platform. The currently available feature sets for 868 MHz are shown in the table below. Via an agreement with Radiocrafts and a programming connector included on your PCB as advised in the data sheet, the same hardware can target multiple markets.

Visit the online documentation for details or contact Radiocrafts for further information.
